Police arrest five misleading minor girl under the pretext of ‘rain of cash’

The Crime Branch arrested five men as they were allegedly manipulated a girl that they could perform a special puja and call the spirits that will cause rain of around Rs 50 crore from the sky. On pretext of ‘rain of cash’, the accused were trying to sexually exploit the girl. Accused have been identified as Vicky Ganesh Khapre (20), a resident of Vrindavan Nagar, Nagpur; Dinesh Mahadev Nikhare (25), a resident of Samudrapur, District – Wardha; Ramakrishna Dadaji Mhaskar (41), a resident of Dasoda village, District -Wardha;Vinod Jayaram Masram (42), a resident of Jambhulghat village, District – Chandrapur, and DR alias Sopan Haribhau Kumre (35), a resident of Khapri, District – Chandrapur. A police official said that a minor girl approached Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Detection Gajanan Rajmane on February 26 and told him that Khapre will take her to Kumre, who is a warlock. Kumre will perform black magic in which she has to go through three levels.

Khapre had reportedly told the girl that no one will touch her body. Khapre had told the girl and promised ‘rain of cash’ on her. After revealing the witchcraft to the girl, Khapre had asked the minor girl to send her five pictures with full name, height, weight and menstrual cycle date on WhatsApp. The girl grew suspicious of Khapre and refused to send the pictures. Then, Khapre started pressurising her on phone calls.And the girl approached the police.
