City Commissioner of Police (CP) Amitesh kumar on Thursday said that FIR would be registered against those who would be found violating lockdown. He said that it is the responsibility of the citizens to follow the restrictions. People should go out of their houses only if it is extremely important or if they work for emergency services.
He also added that strict action would be taken against those found roaming the streets without any reason. He also added that city borders would be sealed during lockdown and nakalbandi would be implemented at various points inside the city. He said that passengers coming from trains or flights would be allowed to go to their respective destinations during the lockdown. He further said that those going to vaccination centres would also be not facing any trouble.
