Chandrapur: The second phase of COVID-19 vaccination drive is underway and to avoid crowd at the inoculation centre, the Chandrapur district administration has started 18 new vaccination centres from Wednesday to ensure that all eligible citizens in the district get the corona vaccine on time.
 Location of new vaccination centers:
- Arher Navargaon
- Mudza, Mendki and Chaugan PHC in Brahmapuri block
- Chichpalli PHC in Chandrapur block
- Tohegaon PHC in Gondpipri block
- Mandwa and Naranda PHC in Korpana block
- Chiroli PHC in Mul block
- Navegaon PHC in Nagbhid block PHC
- Antargaon and Bothali PHC in Saoli block
- Mohadi Naleshwar PHC and Wasera PHC in Sindewahi block
- Shehan Buzurg under Sawari PHC and Kosarsar PHC in Warora block
- Ayurvedic dispensary Tembhurd
It is to be noted here that the COVID-19 cases in Maharashtra is on rise. The district that were witnessing drop in number of positive cases, are now facing sudden spike in the cases. Taking stern action against the spike, the administration has started taking extra precautions to curb the second wave of the virus. The authorities have also appealed the citizens to avoid stepping out of the house unnecessarily and use mask in public places.
