The situation of covid cases in Nagpur is alarming, said CA Mahesh Rathi, Past Chairman while speaking as Chief guest at COVID Vaccination camp organized by Nagpur Branch of ICAI in coordination with Rathi Nursing Home, Dhantoli, Nagpur. “Vaccination for all is the only final solution other than following all covid safety protocols for your own security from this deadly virus” remarked CA Mahesh Rathi. He lauded the efforts of Nagpur Branch of WIRC of ICAI led by CA Saket Bagdia for taking member centric initiatives in this testing time and organizing Vaccination camp for its members for ensuring their safety and security. Elderly people above 60 years and people with co-morbidities are on high risk and should take immediate vaccination. He specially thanked the Government for taking all efforts for ensuring vaccination in a phased manner to all citizens of our country.
‘Prevention is better than cure’ this narrative is very critical during this pandemic said CA Saket Bagdia, Chairman Nagpur Branch of WIRC of ICAI. He acknowledged and thanked Dr. Dilip Rathi and Dr. Neeta Rathi for making this vaccination facility available at their Hospital for Senior Chartered Accountants and their family. This vaccination camp was for CA members and their family members aged more than 60 years and age group between 45 to 60 years having co-morbidities, informed Chairman. He further said that Nagpur branch will continue to organise such other program for benefit of its members in coming time.
The only way to prevent infection from Covid is to safeguard yourself and vaccination is the best possible solution to avoid infection in near future said regional Council member CA Abhijit Kelkar while giving his remarks. He informed that all ICAI Branches all over the country are taking such initiatives for their members.
Dr. Dilip Rathi from Rathi Nursing Home remarked that this vaccination camp gives them more satisfaction than any other procedure as this is the need of the hour. He expressed his willingness to be of support to Nagpur Branch of ICAI at any future time.
CA Akshay Gulhane coordinated the event while CA Sanjay Agrawal proposed a formal vote of thanks. Prominently present on the occasion were Dr. Prafulla Meshram, CA Pradeep Modani, CA Jayesh Bavishi and a large number of members who along with their family were the beneficiary of vaccination camp.
