City Police solve murder case of Manish Shrivas after 5 long years

City Police through its Crime Intelligence team solved another murder case of March 2016, of Manish Shrivas, registered under the Pachpavali Police Station. The accused are Ranjit Safelkar, Sharad ails Kalu Hate, Bharat Hate, Chotu Bagade, Isak Maste, Hemant Gorkha informed Amitesh Kumar, Commissioner of Police.  Addressing a press conference on Friday the Top Cop disclosed that while interrogating deeply criminal Kalu and Bharat Hate in the murder of Architect  Eaknath Bhivgade, they disclosed about the murder.

He added that the accused first took the victim with the temptation of meeting him with a girl at a farm at Pawangaon (Dhargaon) and murdered him with sharp weapons. The dead body of Manish Shrivas, was chopped into small pieces and then packed in a gunny bag and was disposed in the jungle. They have shown the police the spot where they have done the murder.

To misguide the police, the criminals involved the name of Manish Shrivas in the murder of Montu Bhullar, which was done later on March 13, 2012 by Divakar Kotulwar. While the murder of Manish Shrivas was done before, but to misguide police, that he was absconding due to his involvement in murder.  Manish family was also informed by Chotu Bagade, Isak Maste and friends same thing.

After a wait of three years wife of Manish Savitri, launched FIR in the year 2016  at Panchpawali Police Station and police came to know about the matter. Amitesh Kumar added that the Police Intelligence team is further investigating unsolved cases for 10 years, and many more will be solved. A cash award of Rs 1 lakh will be awarded to the crime detection team, he said.
