Municipal Commissioner Radhakrishnan B has ordered to restrict traffic from Bhim Chowk to Ring Road (Dumping Yard Road) for construction of cement road.Â
Construction of Bhim Chowk to Ring Road (Dumping Yard Road) Chain No. 720 to 1250 Cement Concrete Road is to be done under Road No. 11 in Cement Concrete Road Project Phase 3 by Nagpur Municipal Corporation.
In this connection, from 30th April 2021 to 30th June 2021, the traffic on the above route will be diverted to Vathoda Road parallel to that road.
Apart from this, administration has also ordered to take important measures at the place where the work is going on.
Accordingly, notice boards will be put up at the place where the work is being done and dates of commencement and completion of the work. The contractor will be put up his own. Security guards or volunteers at alternative starting and ending routes as well as near barricades will also be placed.
Resources like traffic safety guards, traffic signs, cones, barricades, reflective jackets, AED batons, blickers etc. will be made available. Installation of detailed detour information boards at alternative routes, installation of LED diversion boards at night, installation of LED floors on barricades, erection of temporary two-way traffic dividers on the right side to divert two-way traffic on the same route will be done as well.
The order states that compliance with traffic rules as well as guidelines issued by the traffic police should be made possible for the convenience of residents on both sides of the road or citizens with offices.
