Nagpur District continues to record a dip in daily Coronavirus cases. On May 8 district recorded 7799 recoveries in the last 24 hours taking the cumulative recovery to 379657 and the Recovery Rate jumped to 85.13%.
While daily cases may have dip but the district continues to record more than 3k cases every day since the second wave of COVID began to affect the city. With 3827 new cases the tally of total cases reached to 4,45,971.
On Saturday, 81 positive patients lost their life in a battle against COVID-19 pushing the tally to 8069.
The Active Case of the district also saw a dip on Saturday as 58,245 are active with the Noval Coronavirus.
From the total positive cases in the day 2,016 were and 1797 were from rural area. Meanwhile, from the total deaths 51 people were the residents of city and 16 were from rural areas. Today the district conducted total 20,235 COVID-19 tests.
