In a shameful incident, a twelve-year-old girl was raped on by a man on the pretext of playing in Kalamna, Nagpur. The accused has been identified as Dolchand Chavan (55).
The incident occured when the parents of the minor victim were on their way to work in Kalmana and their 12-year-old daughter was playing with her friend.
The accused Chavan took the advantage of the situation and called the two girls to his house under the pretext of playing with her and raped the minor.
Nagpur city police in a press release informed that a case has been registered with the Kalamna Police station against the accused under Section 376 (3), 342 subsections 4,8,12 and POCSO Act by Investigating officer Saponi Sawant.
