2 kg and 700 grams of cannabis (Ganja) was seized by the Mankapur Police Station on Tuesday in a raid following a tip regarding the illegal affair at Bandhu Nagar, Zingabai Takli, Nagpur. According to police officials, the seized drug was worth twenty-seven thousand rupees.
Acting on a tip provided by an undisclosed person, a team of Mankapur Police Station headed by Assistant Police Inspector Kailash Magar raided Flat no. 202, PLOT NO. 33, Bandhu Nagar, Zingabai Takli, Nagpur.
While inspecting the place, police officials found a bag covered by yellow, red, and white thick cloth labeled as Nagpur Super Garam Masala in the inner cupboard of the bed. While checking closely, the officials found it out to be 2.7 kilograms of cannabis illegally possessed.
According to the Mankapur Police Station an offense has been registered under Section 20 (B)(2)(B) of the NDPS Act against Imran Khan (34), a resident of Gittikhadan, Nagpur.
