In a recent incident, a 65-year-old man duped a woman in Jaripatka on the pretext of selling and registering a plot in Jaripatka.
According to the police report, accused Yaddapad Kochanu (65) took Rs 3 lakh 21 thousand from Shabrina Kulte (47) multiple times promising a plot and its registration. Yaddapad also signed an agreement to sell a plot in return for money. While accused Kochanu kept taking money from Shabrina, he sold it to someone else and refused to return the money.
After the accused refused to give back the money paid, Shabrina informed Jaripatka Police regarding the incident. According to the Police, PSI Murlidhar has registered a complaint under IPC 406, 420 and further investigation is underway.
