After 76 days, district registered below 1,000 Covid +ve cases. On Monday, cases dropped to 971 in the district taking the cumulative of positive cases to 464214. Meanwhile, today the district registered 30 death cases and 3894 patients successfuly recovered from the deadly virus. Today 13,261 tests were conducted. Active cases declined to 26,890.
From the total positive cases, 487 are the residents of the city while 474 belong to rural areas. Out of the total deaths in the day 11 were from city and 9 were reported from rural areas. This took the tool of fatalities to 8580.
This drastic reduction in deaths, and good recoveries further improved the recovery rate to 92.36%.
Constant rise in COVID-19 recoveries led to increase in the recovery rate and decrease in active cases as only 26890 persons remain active now.
