Zero deaths fourth day in a row, 25 new cases in Nagpur distt

The second wave of novel coronavirus peaked in April. But since May the number of patients and death constantly declined finally prividing some relief to the administraion. On the fourth consecutive day in the district, not a single death due to coronavirus was recorded on Wednesday and 25 new cases were reported.

Apart from this It is worth mentioning here that the count of recoveries has remained higher than new cases for more than two months in a row. On Wednesday, 91 patients were discharged. The recovery count has reached to 467691 and the recovery rate has is 98.04 percent.

With the fresh upadate, the total number patients is 477052 and the death toll is 9025 and has stabilised over the last five days.

continues inprovement in COVID figures, have brought down the active cases to 277. So far 477207 infected people have been detected in the district while 9025 were reported dead due to the dreaded novel virus.

The constant zero deaths in the district is a huge sigh of relief. Meanwhile, on Monday, 25 persons were detected positive with the covid infection. From the total 16 were the residents of the city and th rural witnessed 9 new cases.

The number active patients on Wednesday increased slightly as compared to Tuesday. The number of active patients rose to 336.
