Nagpur Smart City organizes drawing contest for kids on ‘My neighbourhood’

The Nagpur Smart and Sustainable City Development Corporation Ltd have organized a unique drawing contest for the young ones.

The competition is open for children up to the age of 6 years. Participants have to submit their drawings online or can even submit it in the NMC office.

The topic of the contest is ‘My Neighbourhood’ (Mera Ados Pados). The objective behind the contest is to give wings to the thoughts of the little ones on how their neighbourhood should be according to their perspective.

The idea behind the contest is to know how should be the surroundings, what the deficiencies are and how it could be fulfilled and to spread awareness about neighbourhood, informed Bhuwaneshwari S, Chief Executive Officer of Nagpur Smart and Sustainable City Development Corporation Ltd.

Children up to the age of 6 years can participate in the contest. They have to upload their scanned drawing before August 2 on the Smart city Google link https://forms.gle/1LGcus5WZ1FtEXA67.  Parents can also submit the drawings on 7th floor of Chhattrapati Shivaji Maharaj New Administration Building of Nagpur Municipal Corporation, Civil Lines.

The first three will be given prizes and one consolation certificate will be given, informed Dr Pranita Umredkar, Head of Smart City Environment Department.
