Police Commemoration Day (Smriti Diwas) was observed at Reserve Ground Motibagh, Railway Protection Force (RPF) South East Central Railway/Nagpur.
On October 21 Homage was paid to 8 Martyrs who laid down their lives in line of duty all over India in the Year 2020-2021. The Martyrs include 08 officers and staff of RPF.
A.N. Sinha, IG-Cum, Principle Chief Security Commissioner, RPF/South East Central Railway/Bilaspur, Shri. Pankaj Chugh, Senior Divisional Security Commissioner/RPF, South East Central Railway/Nagpur along with 95 other officers and staff of RPF, South East Central Railway laid wreath and offered floral tributes to the Martyrs at Sahid Smarak, at Reserve Ground Motibagh, RPF/S.E.C. Railway/Nagpur.
The RPF band played Last Post, Abide with Me and Rouse tunes and Martyred staff family apprised by IG-Cum PCSC/RPF/SECR/BSP mark of respect to the Martyrs.
