Dayashankar Tiwari, the Mayor, gave away books and educational materials to the KG I and II students of Gopalrao Motghare NMC English Primary School in Hansapuri Khadan on Wednesday.
NMC has started six English medium schools in the six Assembly constituencies in the city. Shraddha Parthak, Gandhibag Zone Chairperson, Adv Sanjay Balpande, Sarla Nayak, Vidya Kanhere, Corporators, Priti Mishrikotkar, Education Officer, Seema Khobragade, School Supervisor, Saroj Pande, Head Mistress, Vinay Bagle, Somusurv Chatterjee of Aakansha Foundationand others were present.
As may as 57 students have taken admission in KG I and II classes in this school while yesterday another six stuents took permission. On the occasion, Tiwari congratuled the team of foundation and said that the corporation started these schools, expressing confidence that the poor students would get benefit in the future.
