A major fire gutted Reliance Retail Ltd warehouse at Nimji Village near Nagpur-Amravati road on early morning of Thursday.
According to the information the fire broke out in the warehouse around 5.30 am morning.
Acting swiftly five fire tenders were immediately deployed to control the fire. It is estimated that crores of goods were gutted in the fire. The exact cause of the fires is yet to be asserted.
It is learnt that a large quantity of grains and other groceries were kept in the warehouse when the fire broke. The fire brigade was able to control the blaze. But by then, the fire had damaged items stored in the warehouse.
