Centre Point School Wardhaman Nagar organised the 4th Chapter of CENMUN

It was extremely challenging to organize a conference for teen students in an online mode who want nothing more than to go out and socialize. However, the pandemic completely changed this narrative yet it did not create a hindrance, be it reaching out to people or hiring capable and experienced chairs and vice chairs or training delegates. The best use of social media was made to reach, nurture, and engage with our target audience.

The idea behind CENMUN 2021 in an online mode was to provide the delegates a real experience of a physical MUN virtually without putting the safety of the delegates at risk. CENMUN 21 was organized in two phases in the online mode.

CENMUN Jr and CENMUN Sr to give students the opportunity to compete with people of their own age and realize their true potential. Both the conferences were held online due to the pandemic. CENMUN Jr. was held on 11th and 12th September. CENMUN Sr. 2021 was held on 15th and 16th January 2022.

CENMUN

CENMUN Sr edition was a grand success wherein approximately 200 delegates participated from all over India and from countries like Uzbekistan, Uganda, Nigeria and Sri Lanka. The conference was vide 11 committees which included new concepts such as the US Senate, the FIFA and the Midnight IPL Mega Auction committee to make the conference more inclusive.

The Secretariat of the student-organized MUN consists of students from Classes 11 and 12. was headed by Secretary General Mr. Anshul Kamble and Deputy Secretary General- Vinit Kalra
