The newly elected body of Nephrology Society, Nagpur with President Amit Pasari, was installed during a function held here.
Prof. Dr. Rajendra Pandey, Vice-Chancellor, West Bengal University and Health Sciences, was the chief guest. Prof Dr Ritambhara Nada, Professor of Histopathology, PGIMER, Chandigarh, was the guest of honour.
Besides President Dr Amit Pasari, those installed include Honorary Secretary Dr Piyush Kimmatkar, President-elect Dr Nishant Deshpande, Vice president: Dr Monali Sahu and Dr Vishal Ramteke, Treasurer Dr Anand Chellappan, Joint Secretary Dr Amol Bhawane. Executive Member Dr Jitesh Jeswani, Dr Prasad Gurjar, Dr Faizan Ansari.
The Installation programme was be followed by Dr. B. S. Choubey Oration by Dr Ritambhara Nada and Dr H R Salkar Professional Excellence Award function by Dr Samir Chaube. Dr S J Acharya, Dr Prakash Khetan, Dr R Ravi chaired Dr B S Chaube Oration while Dr Dhananjay Ookalkar Dr Jairaj Korpe chaired Dr Harsha Salkar Oration. Dr V L Gupta was felicitated for his contribution to the development of Nephrology.
A Public Awareness programme was held, which was telecast live on YouTube.
Dr Vishal Rameteke was the Convener for the panel discussion. Panellist included Dr Dhananjay Ookalkar, Dr Charulata Bawankule, Dr Faizan Ansari, Prof Dr Rajendra Pandey, Dr Ashwin Meshram, Dr Amit Pasari Dr Piyush Kimmatkar Dr Suryashri Pande.
Outgoing President Nephrology Society, and Dr Vishal Ramteke, outgoing Hon Secretary, presented the annual report.
