87 students of Aakash BYJU’S inked stupendous result in Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Junior Science across the country

Inking yet another outshining performance in the competitive examinations, 87 stellar students from Aakash BYJU’s have scored above the Minimum Admissible Score (MAS) in the Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Junior Science 2021-22 (IOQJS Part-I).

After evaluation of IOQJS Part-II, students will be selected for Orientation cum Selection Camp (OCSC), which is organized by the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE).

Speaking on the results, Aakash Chaudhry, Managing Director, Aakash BYJU’S, said, “Our continued success in the competitive examinations have affirmed the great environment of studies provided by Aakash BYJU’s to its aspirants. From teaching methodology to course content, faculties have always been focused on strengthening the fundamental concepts of the students. We also acknowledge the support of the parents for supporting us diligently. I wish them all the best for the future.”

The Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Junior Science (IOQJS) is a three-and-a-half-hour two-part examination, which is jointly organized by the Indian Association of Physics Teachers and Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE). It is a combination of two competitive examinations, namely, the Indian National Olympiad (INO), and the National Standard Examination (NSE). The main objective of the Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Junior Science (IOQJS) exam is to encourage students to analyze their competence in science subjects by participating on a global platform. This year MAS is 48 and a total of 534 students have scored more than or equal to MAS. Out of these 534, only 301 have been shortlisted for IOQJS Part-II paper evaluation as per the state quota.

Aakash BYJU’S aims to help students in their quest to achieve academic success. It has a centralized in-house process for curriculum and content development and faculty training and monitoring, led by the National Academic Team of Aakash BYJU’S. Over the years, students from Aakash BYJU’S have shown a proven selection track record in various medical and engineering entrance exams and competitive exams like Olympiads, NTSE and KVPY.
