Consumers can lodge complaints on whatsapp number made available by the Weights & Measures Department
Officers of Weights & Measures Department has taken suitable action against 31 establishments/businessmen from Nagpur and Chandrapur districts for selling products at higher prices than the printed rates.
The customers can now register their complaints concerning businessman weighing sweets with pack, higher prices than printed ones, scratches made on prices and fixing sticker, not mentioning of manufacturer’s name, address, month, year printed prices, brand name, consumer complaint number, email etc against such establishments with the department on whatsapp number: 9404951828. The consumers can submit their complaints in Marathi, Hindi, English languages or by recording sound on this whatsapp number, appealed P M Biradar, Joint Controller of the department on Tuesday.
