Nagpur recorded day temperature at 45.1 degrees Celsius on Monday as against yesterday’s 45.2 degrees C. However, the humid atmosphere made citizens restless.
Gondia registered highest temperature at 45.8 degrees C today, followed by Brahmapuri where the temperature was 45.2 degrees C. Then comes Wardha district that registered 44.8 degrees C.

The temperature figures in C at other places in Vidarbha are: Akola – 42.0, Amravati – 42.4, Gadchiroli – 42.0, Yavatmal – 43.5. The figures of Chandrapur and Washim were not made available till filing report.
According to Indian Meteorological Department, heat wave conditions likely to occur on June 7 in Nagpur, Akola, Wardha while thunderstorm with lightning to occur in most of the Vidarbha districts from June 8 to 10.
