NTPC Mouda celebrated the World Environment Day on 05 June 2022. On the occasion, Shri A K Manohar, Head of Project administered the Environment pledge while everyone present took an oath to be vigilant for conservation of the environment and work towards saving Mother Earth. Shri Manohar addressed the gathering and mentioned that NTPC Mouda shall continue its practices for protection and improvement of the environment in the future also.
A walkathon was organised by the Environment Management group in order to promote a healthy and fit lifestyle and the importance of controlling pollution by cutting down our carbon footprint. Many competitions were also organised for employees, family members and residents of the Utkarsh Nagar Township with the aim of spreading awareness about this year’s theme of World Environment Day which is “Only One Earthâ€.
