The Union Minister of State for Cultural Affairs, Arjun Ram Meghwal paid a goodwill visit to South Central Zone Cultural Centre (SCZCC) in Civil Lines on Tuesday.
On the occasion, he inspected the recently-started construction work of the administrative building and expressed satisfaction over the pace of the work. He also took information about various activities of the centre and took interest in sculptures, symbolic huts from six States. Later, he interacted with the SCZCC officers and employees. A presentation was made on various programmes held by the centre.
Dr Dipak Khirwadkar, Director, SCZCC, felicitated Meghwal by presenting him shreefal, book and memento. A programme on devotional songs and bhajan by Vinod Wakhte and troupe was also organized in honour of the minister. Dipak Patil, Administrative Officer, compered the event and proposed a vote of thanks.
