Indian Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for Amravati district for Wednesday by predicting heavy to very heavy rainall and thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at isolated places there.
It has also issued a yellow alert for Nagpur, Akola, Bhandara, Buldana, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Gondia, Wardha and Washim districts with heavy rainfall, thunderstorm and lightning on the same day.
