The COVID situation in Nagpur district is getting worrisome with each passing day. On Sunday, district reported 262 new positive cases adding to the existing cases. With these additions, the number of cumulative tally increased to 5,81,290.
Meanwhile, 118 persons recovered from coronavirus infection, the number of cumulative recoveries rose to 5,69690. Active cases increased to 1221.
From the total cases in the day, Nagpur rural reported 100 new cases while 162 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in Nagpur city.With this, the number of cumulative positive cases increased to 5,81,290.
No death due to the coronavirus was registered in the district. Nagpur district continues to maintain recovery rate of 98.14%.
