Bhandara District Collector Sandip Kadam, who is also head of the District Disaster management Committee has announced that the schools in the district will remain closed from July 18 to 20.
The closure of all government and private schools has been ordered following prediction of heavy rainfall during the period. All private tuition classes will also remain closed.
Kadam has also stated that those violating the order may face action under Disaster Management Act 2005.
