Buffalo died after falling from Pardi flyover

Buffalo died after falling from Pardi flyover

The flyover near Pardi Bazar has been a mystery for the Nagpurians. The flyover, under construction for the last several years has posed serious problems for the commuters on the road. It being a major entry point to the city was seen as a facility. However, inordinate delay in completing the construction turned out to be an eyesore for many.

Forget about the human beings, even a buffalo wanted to examine the progress on the flyover and went on to examine the security check. Probably frustrated by the delay caused by the authorities on completing the work she tried to jump right from its top. A portion of the flyover caved in a few months back, reminding the authorities of lackadaisical attitude of the important developmental work.

The buffalo was seen on the flyover a couple of days back. Unable to understand that sometimes retreat is a better option than fighting, she tried to jump from several feet above the ground. The local residents stated that some children also  tried to climb the flyover, but came back safely looking at its condition. The buffalo could not understand the mentality of the government authorities and jumped. IN fact she can be called a martyr, who sacrificed her life to pose an example for the government authorities to indicate the danger for human beings created by them.

She jumped and died, even when efforts to rescue her were made.
