MIDC Police arrested four persons, preparing for dacoity on Monday night. One of the five fled the spot taking advantage of the darkness.
As a part of Nagpur Police’s washout operation, night patrolling has been increased. The patrolling squad of MID Police Station found five persons moving on Central MIDC road in a suspicious manner. Near a showroom, police stopped them and arrested four. The names of those arrested are Dinesh alias Dinu Laxman Bhonsale (30 yrs), Lakhan Laxman Bhonsale (28), Hemraj Sukram Dhawale (19) and Rishabh Ranjit Atram (19). The fifth accomplice Dhreeraj took advantage of the darkness and managed to flee away.
Police have seized a Ford Ecosport car, two swords, a knife, an iron bar, nylon rope and chilli powder. Six mobile phones of different companies were also seized from thei possession. The total cost of the material seized is estimated to be around Rs 12 lakh. The car was without a number plate.
