In a sensational incident, a road caved in the middle in Subhan Nagar area of east Nagpur on Wednesday evening. According to eyewitnesses, a car had passed moments before this incident that took place at 5 pm in the evening.
The road collapsed and there was a loud noise after the automobile had passed. Where the road collapsed, a very old trunk line was constructed. A pit that is 12 to 15 feet deep was created when the road collapsed.
Pradeep Pohane, a former council member, said that NHAI is constructing the Pardi flyover. Numerous homes and businesses in the HB Town, Surya Nagar, and Subhan Nagar regions have experienced flooding. Stormwater drains were not built by the NHAI, which resulted in increased strain on the trunk line and eventual collapse of the road.
