On Wednesday, authorities raided a lodge in Itgaon village, Khaparkheda tehsil, and broke a flesh trade ring.
Ramdas Gundewar Kakde (51), a Parseoni resident, has been arrested in connection with the case.
According to information available, the lodge and bar are owned by Kakde’s family. He’d been swinging the racket there for a long time. Seven girls were also rescued from the crime scene by police. The site on which the resort is built is reportedly owned by an NGO.
