Two new variants of Omicron were detected in China, posing another threat after a brief relief from Corona. The cases of new variant BF .7 and BA 5.1.7 were detected in various parts of China. These new variants are stated to be fast spreading. The BF .7 has already spread in many parts of China.
The World Health Organisation (WHO) has issued an alert relating to BF .7 variant, which can spread very fast. A WHO expert stated that the BF .7 variant can spread in entire China, if immediate steps are not taken to control it.
China has not relaxed the Corona protocol, even when almost entire world has removed the restriction. Even President Xi Jinping has to follow the protocol. Sealing boundaries, quarantine, lockdown and other rules are still followed in China.
