Kanchanmala Pande Member of Aqua Sports Club brought laurels to the City by winning 3 Gold at the 22nd National Paralympic Swimming Championship -2022 organised by Paralympic Committee of India Hosted by Paralympic Association of Assam at Guwahati.
For her achievement she was felicitated on NIT Swimming Pool at the hands of Mr. Ashwin Janbandhu, Manager Operations Midland Sports in the August presence of Shri Mangesh Gadre, Secretary Aqua Sports Club, Chief Coach of ASC, ASCA Level – 5 Coach Shri Vishal Chandurkar & Shri Vivek Javade of Midland Sports.
Kanchanmala a Visually Impaired Swimmer won 3 Gold in category S-11 Women Kanchanmala in the event 100 mts. Freestyle, 100 mts. Backstroke & 100 mts. Breaststroke.
With her best performance she is now qualified to represent India at Asian Paralympic Games China 2023.
Working in RBI as a Class-I officer Kanchanmala is training hard under the able Guidance of Senior Coach Dr. Pravin Lamkhade (NSNIS, Patiala) and ASCA Level – 5 Coach Shri Vishal Chandurkar Sir.
