The secretary to Hon Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and senor administrative Officer Shri Shrikar Pardeshi today visited Metro Bhavan. The winter session of the State Legislature is going on in Nagpur and government officials have been camping in the city.
Yesterday Additional Chief Secretary of the State (Chief Minister’s Secretariat and Urban Development Department-1) Shri Bhushan Gagrani traveled by Metro between Zero Mile Freedom Park – Airport South – Sitabardi Interchange.
Shri Srikar Pardeshi traveled by metro today. He started from Zero Mile Metro Station and traveled to Sitabuldi Interchange and then travelled to Lokmanya Nagar.
He also visited Hingna depot of Maha Metro from Lokmanya Nagar station. Dr Brijesh Dixit, Managing Director, Maha Metro accompanied him throughout the journey and briefed him on the overall progress of the Nagpur Metro project.
Shri Pardeshi then visited Metro Bhavan. He visited various sections like Experience Center, Exhibition Center, and Library here. He appreciated about the various arrangements at Metro Bhavan, the architecture of this building etc.
He said that the various facilities which are part of Nagpur Metro project and the steadily increasing ridership is a matter of satisfaction for all. He also expressed the hope that the citizens should avoid using private vehicles and use the Metro instead.
The Director (Strategic Planning) Maha Metro Shri Anil Kokate, Executive Director (Operations) Shri Uday Borwankar and other officials were present during the visit.
