On Thursday, January 26, 2023, the Nagpur Metro’s ridership was about 2 lakhs.
During the morning hours on Thursday, around 9.00 am, ridership was 1,89,416. A record of 2.20 lakh ridership figure was established by the Nagpur Maha Metro on January 1, 2023.
To mark the celebrations of the 74th Republic Day, various programs were organized by the Maha Metro at various metro stations including Sitabuldi, and Khapri.
Cultural programs were also organized at Freedom Park comprising patriotic songs.
The last ridership figures calculated on January 26, were 1,96,165.
