All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Nagpur, has become the country’s first AIIMS to receive accreditation from National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Health Providers (NABH). NABH checks a number of parameters like organizational efficiency, safety, patient care, and more of institutions.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday tweeted his congratulations stating, “Congratulations to the team at AIIMS, Nagpur on this feat, setting a benchmark in delivering quality healthcare services.”
Deputy chief minister Devendra Fadnavis also congratulated the city and its people on this. He tweeted, “Congratulations, Nagpur and Maharashtra! Our AIIMS became the first one to get NABH accreditation. This will further ensure and enhance the quality of healthcare services, especially for the people of Nagpur, Vidarbha, and central India. Thank you, Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji, for the appreciation and constant encouragement for ‘SEVA’ toward society!”
