Eleven year-old boy committed suicide by hanging himself after his sister refused to give him a mobile phone. The incident took place in Digdoh under MIDC police Station limits.
The deceased has been identified as Hansraj Krishnakant Rai, He was a student of 5th class. His father Krishnakant works in Madhya Pradesh. Mother Sheela lives with her father Chhotalal Rai along with Hansraj and 2 daughters. Hansraj was the youngest in the home.
MIDC police sent the body for post-mortem. Police have registered a case of accidental death.
