In a bid to raise awareness about traffic safety among young people, Dr. Ravinder Singal, the Commissioner of Police in Nagpur, spoke to students at Ambedkar College last Saturday. Emphasizing the significance of obeying traffic regulations to prevent accidents and lead longer, healthier lives, he stated, “It is a duty of every citizen, especially young generation members, to follow the traffic safety rules.”
As part of the “Be a Traffic Marshal” initiative led by the Rotary Club of Nagpur Downtown, Rotaract Clubs, and Nagpur Police, Dr. Singal revealed the “Traffic Safety Appeal” board on the premises. Ravindra Paranjape, the Project Director of the college, emphasized the ongoing efforts, stating, “We’ve been organizing on-road events to spread messages about road safety across different areas.” “These initiatives aims to reduce accidents and deaths among young people,” said Project Director Ravindra Paranjape, expressing gratitude to all participants.
