VIA Lady Entrepreneurs Wing (LEW) proudly hosted the “Concept to Commerce” jewellery design competition at Kusumtai Wankhede Hall, Nagpur, as part of the Udyojika Exhibition. This event celebrated the creative flair and entrepreneurial spirit of local jewellery designers, providing a platform for budding artists to showcase their talent and explore market opportunities.
Participants were given 1.5 hours to create designs and 5 minutes to present their work, based on themes such as Floral Fusion, Eco-friendly Creations, Timeless Elegance X Futuristic Flair, and Sea Goddess. A distinguished panel of judges, including Mr. Pradeep Kotari of Kotari Jewellers, Ms. Naina Seth of Batuka Bai, and Ms. Monica Ganvir, evaluated the designs on creativity, craftsmanship, and presentation. The event was a stepping stone for participants to enter the market and build confidence as future entrepreneurs.
Award Winners:
- Most Creative Design: Ms. Gurdit Kaur, for her innovative fusion of natural and high-tech elements.
- Best Use of Material: Ms. Vitali Daf.
- Best Presentation: Ms. Neelima Umbarkar.
Mr. Pradeep Kotari emphasized the importance of skilled employees in the jewellery industry and applauded the initiative. Ms. Naina Seth appreciated the creativity of all participants and encouraged continued innovation.Ms. Monica Ganvir praised VIA LEW for organizing this event, the first of its kind in central India.
As part of their support for the participants, VIA LEW provided free stalls from October 3rd to 7th, giving the designers a chance to sell their creations and gain real-world business exposure.

The event marked a successful collaboration, fostering creativity, and providing an entrepreneurial boost to Nagpur’s emerging designers.
