Kalamna Police, on Monday, seized six illegal swords from the homes of three suspects and two juveniles after their videos flashing dangerous weapons went viral on social media.
The arrested suspects are Prashant Ramesh Chatte (19), Deepak Harikisan Nimkar (19), and Piyush Atul Sakhare (19). Two juveniles were also detained. The swords, valued at Rs. 15,500, were recovered during the raids.
A case has been registered under the Arms Act and Maharashtra Police Act. The operation was supervised by senior Nagpur Police officials, with further investigation ongoing.
