Nagpur: The Women’s Education Society’s LAD & RP College for Women, in collaboration with Vigyan Bharati (VIBHA) and Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU), will host the Vidarbha Vigyan Utsava on January 3 and 4, 2025. The event will take place at the college premises in Shankar Nagar as part of the college’s IQAC initiative under the theme year 2024-25, “AI Evaluation Transforming Research and Innovation.”
The inaugural function is scheduled for January 3 at 10 a.m., with RTMNU Vice-Chancellor Dr. Prakashant B. Vokare as the chief guest. Director of NEERI, Dr. Atul Vaidya, and CEO of Nitika Pharmaceuticals, Ravleen Khurana, will be the guests of honour at the event.
Secretary of Vigyan Bharati, Dr. Prakash Itankar, announced the event details during a press conference at Tilak Patrakar Bhavan on Monday. He shared that the two-day Utsava will feature the final round of a Science Model Competition alongside poster and rangoli displays.
The competition’s theme, “Science and Its Application in Agriculture, Environment, and Healthcare,” aims to promote innovative thinking among participants.
The event is being coordinated by a team comprising Rajesh Karemore, Manisha Ghare, Maya Jadhav, Archana Lihitkar, Dr. Sunita Sapre, and Vaishali Gade.
