Nagpur: Vehicular traffic on the Butibori bridge is expected to resume from Today, following a joint inspection by Nagpur (Rural) police and officials from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) on Monday.
An official confirmed that a lane on the Nagpur-Wardha route and both lanes on the Wardha-Nagpur route will be reopened for light vehicular traffic. Superintendent of Police Dr. Harssh Poddar visited the site to assess the situation, while NHAI officials conducted an inspection and declared the bridge safe for limited use.
To ensure smooth traffic flow, Nagpur (Rural) traffic police have been deployed near the bridge round the clock. This development is expected to bring relief to commuters traveling between Nagpur and Wardha.
