Nagpur: The Nagpur Police Commissionerate inaugurated the ‘CyberHack 2025’ hackathon on January 10, 2025, at the Control and Command Center. The event aims to address rising cybercrimes by providing participants with real-world problem statements to devise technical solutions.
Organized in collaboration with AID, Vidarbha Advantage, IIM Nagpur, Infed, and Decodak, the hackathon will be held from February 7-9, 2025, at IIM Nagpur. Registrations are open at decode@procohat.com, with cash prizes of Rs 1 lakh, Rs 75,000, and Rs 50,000 for winners.
Police Commissioner Dr. Ravinder Kumar Singhal emphasized the need for collective efforts from IT professionals, private institutions, and cyber experts to curb cybercrime. The event is supported by DCP Lohit Matani and the Nagpur Cyber Police team.
Prominent dignitaries, including industrialists and senior police officials, attended the launch, marking a significant step towards enhancing cybersecurity in the region.
