Nagpur: Renowned actor and Member of Parliament Kangana Ranaut will inaugurate the seventh season of the Khasdar Krida Mahotsav (KKM) on Sunday at 7 am at Yashwant Stadium. The multi-sport extravaganza, conceptualized by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, will kick off with a marathon and the Yuva Daud from Yashwant Stadium.
The races will feature categories for men, women, and Under-16 boys and girls, while the 3-km Yuva Daud will be open to participants of all ages.
Dr. Piyush Ambulkar, Secretary of the KKM Organising Committee, revealed during a press conference that this year’s 20-day sports festival will feature 58 sports events held across 73 venues in the city. “The KKM carries a total prize pool of approximately ₹1.5 crore,” Dr. Ambulkar said.
