To bring the spiritual experience of the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj to Nagpur, a special religious event called ‘Maha Kumbh Prayag Yog’ will be held in the city on February 15 and 16. Organized by the Valuable Group along with the SatSang Foundation, the event will allow devotees to take part in the holy Kumbh bath and other sacred rituals without leaving Nagpur.
Thousands of litres of holy water from the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj have been brought to Nagpur for the event. The sacred water will reach Ramtek on Wednesday, followed by a grand procession from Gandhi Chowk to Gad Mandir.
On February 13, the holy water will be used for abhishek (ritual bathing) at Gad Mandir. After that, it will be carried in sacred pots (kalashas) to different temples in Nagpur, including Tekdi Ganpati Mandir, Kalyaneshwar Mandir (Telangkhedi), Ram Mandir (Ram Nagar), Durga Mandir (Pratap Nagar), Kalyaneshwar Mandir (Mahal), and Ramna Maruti Mandir (East Nagpur). The water will then be taken to Reshimbagh Ground, where it will be used for abhishek on the padukas (footwear) of revered saints.
The ceremony will conclude with a Maha Aarti by CM Devendra Fadnavis and Cultural Affairs Minister Ashish Shelar, with blessings from spiritual guru Shri M.
On February 15 and 16, devotees can experience the Kumbh Mela’s spiritual aura through modern water projections. The event will also feature devotional music, satsangs, bhajans, and a ‘Shiv Shakti Yag’ by Maharashtra’s Brahmavrinda group.
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari will attend the event on Sunday, February 16, enhancing its spiritual significance.
Padma Shri Shri M of SatSang Foundation and Amey Hete of Valuable Group have invited everyone to join this divine celebration.
