A fatal accident took place on Nagpur-Wardha Road on Thursday night, where a speeding truck rammed into a stationary truck, resulting in the driver’s death on the spot. The collision also caused a major traffic jam, which was later cleared by the police.
As per police sources, a truck developed a mechanical issue near Beltarodi Police Station limits and was parked on the roadside. A short while later, another truck, moving at high speed, failed to notice the stationary vehicle in the darkness and crashed into it from behind.
The impact was devastating, leading to the instant death of the truck driver. Following the crash, traffic movement was severely disrupted, causing a long jam on the busy route. The police were informed and immediately took action, clearing the congestion and restoring normal traffic flow.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident and are urging drivers to exercise caution, especially at night, to prevent such accidents.
