Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis hailed the Maha Kumbh Mela as a symbol of Sanatan Dharma’s unity, transcending caste, religion, and language. Speaking at the “MahaKumbh Prayag Yoga” event in Reshimbag, Nagpur. He emphasized that no other country has witnessed such a massive congregation of faith. For thousands of years, Indian culture and civilization have united Sanatan Dharma followers, offering them a divine experience through this grand tradition.
Since many could not visit Prayagraj’s Triveni Sangam, the event brought thousands of liters of its sacred water to Nagpur. The two-day celebration (Feb 15-16), inspired by Valuable Group’s Ameya Hete and his father, featured cultural programs, devotional music, Satsang, Kirtan, Bhajan, and spiritual discourses.
The event commenced with Guru Paduka Darshan and Sangam Jal Abhishek, followed by a grand Rath Yatra and blessings from spiritual leader Padma Bhushan Shri M. The evening resonated with devotion as Kailash Kher’s bhajans mesmerized the audience.
Maharashtra’s scholarly Brahmin priests performed sacred rituals, including Shiv-Shakti Yagna, Paduka and Jal Kalash Abhishek, and the consecration of holy water. Using modern technology, Prayagraj’s sacred water was symbolically sprinkled over devotees. The grand Maha Aarti saw the presence of CM Devendra Fadnavis, Cultural Minister Ashish Shelar, and RSS Nagpur Mahanagar Sanghchalak Rajeshji Loya.
Valuable Group Director Ameya Hete honored Devendra Fadnavis with a sacred Kalash of Ganga water, symbolizing the Sangam. Expressing gratitude, Fadnavis thanked Ameya Hete, Narendra Hete, and all organizers for bringing the divine essence of Maha Kumbh to Nagpur. He also acknowledged the work of Satsang Foundation under Shri M’s guidance and extended appreciation to retired Justice Sunil Shukre, Chairman of the State Backward Classes Commission.
Organizers Narendra Hete, Ameya Hete, and Manjiri Hete urged devotees to participate in large numbers and experience the sacred Jalabhishek.
