A shocking daylight murder in the Jatarodi area under Imamwada Police Station limits on Tuesday, March 26, has left the city in shock. A 60-year-old man, Naresh Walde, was brutally stabbed to death by 26-year-old Nana Meshram, allegedly over a long-standing grudge linked to a past tragedy.
According to police sources, Meshram was deeply in love with a young woman who died by suicide nearly three to four years ago. The woman was reportedly Walde’s daughter. Unable to cope with her loss, Meshram blamed Walde for her death, and over time, his grief turned into rage, ultimately leading to the murder.
After committing the crime, the accused fled the scene. Police and crime branch teams have launched a massive manhunt to apprehend him.
Authorities are investigating the case from all possible angles, and the exact motive will be confirmed once Meshram is taken into custody.
