Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) has signed two international MoUs with educational institutions in the USA. These agreements will allow students from both countries to enroll in joint and dual degree programs.
Acting Vice-Chancellor Madhavi Khode Chaware exchanged the MoUs with Robin Matross Helms, Vice President of the Association of Community College Trustees (ACCT), and Julie A. White, Chancellor and CEO of Pierce College.
As per the agreements, RTMNU will collaborate with ACCT in Washington, D.C., and Pierce College on joint research, faculty and student exchanges, research funding, international conferences, workshops, and specialized seminars.
Additionally, both institutions will collaborate on developing joint academic programs and dual degree courses.
Robin Matross Helms shared insights into the humanities department’s activities and showed interest in developments in India. Dr. Julie White provided details about Pierce College’s academic programs, courses, and initiatives.
Madhavi Khode Chaware informed the US representatives about her efforts in raising social awareness in India. She highlighted how Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj’s teachings on patriotism and social unity are being shared with students through the university.
The US delegation also visited various academic departments at Nagpur University.
