Nagpur: As a heartfelt homage to the legendary playback singer Padma Shri Mohammed Rafi on his 45th death anniversary, Kader Musico International will organise three online musical events, announced Director M.A. Kader in a press release.
The tribute series, conceptualised by M.A. Kader and Zinat Kader, will be streamed live from Mohammed Rafi Hall, 46, Central Avenue. The performances are as follows:
- ‘Andaz-e-Rafi’ by students of Kader Academy at 5 pm on July 30
- ‘Rooh-e-Rafi’ at 12 noon on July 31
- ‘Ehsas-e-Rafi’ by the Singing Talents of Orange City at 5 pm on July 31
The musical events aim to celebrate Rafi’s timeless legacy through soulful renditions of his iconic songs. Accompanying the singers will be a team of skilled musicians, including Abdul Zahir, Mangesh Patel, Manoj Vishwakarma, Ashok Doke, Krishna Janvare, and Raju Gajbhiye.
The tribute is being organised under the banner of Rafi Fan Club, led by M.A. Kader, who had once shared the stage with the late singing legend during a programme in Nagpur. The event is powered by Bharati Web and will be accessible to music lovers across platforms through online streaming.
