With an atmosphere of pride and solemnity, St. Francis de Sales School hosted its Investiture Ceremony to formally induct the newly elected House Captains and Vice-Captains for the academic session 2025–26. The event marked a significant milestone in the students’ leadership journey and was held in the presence of the Principal, Vice-Principal, and Supervisor.
The ceremony began with Pranay Ubale serving as the master of ceremonies, setting the tone for an inspiring and well-organised event. The highlight of the occasion was the pinning of badges, adorning of sashes, and handing over of house flags, followed by the administration of the oath, where each student leader pledged to uphold the school’s values and carry out their responsibilities with dedication.
As each name was announced, the respective House Captains and Vice-Captains stepped forward with confidence, receiving their honours from the Principal and other dignitaries. The Principal, Rev. Fr. Prashant, addressed the gathering and spoke on the virtues of leadership, discipline, and responsibility. He urged the newly appointed leaders to be role models and lead their houses with integrity, unity, and commitment.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks, extending heartfelt appreciation to the school management, faculty, and parents for their unwavering support. The event was conducted under the guidance of Michael and Arvin, and served as a memorable occasion, symbolising the beginning of a promising new chapter for the student leaders of SFS.
